Because Law Camp is over

I'd love some photos. : ) Esp. those with the kok kostumes in front when you introduce the OGLs. Victor/Shawn!

Proof of very bad arithmetic: I actually touch down 3rd August, not 4th. Will be at San Francisco for a couple of days prior to that. : ) Cheers to BART/Fisherman's Wharf/Lombard St/SoMa/Oakland/Berkeley/Golden Gate/The Castro/Chinatown/Mission St/Russian Hill&Nob Hill ETC, ETC, ETC.

I was utterly touched by some random guest's generosity the other day. Let's see how I should tell this story. Some background: Bryce Canyon, where I'm at, has quite some hiking trails. Some are within close proximity to the Lodge (the hotel), others are more of a distance away. You can figure which the touristy trappings will be and where most people crawl. So, the highest point at the park, as far as I know, is Rainbow point. Supposedly beautiful but a 15 mile drive UP... about 1000feet from where the Lodge is. Impossible for me to jog (or bike) up, obviously. I was getting rather desperate about not going and was about to give up when OUT OF THE BLUE, AT SIX THIRTY IN THE MORNING WHEN WE OPENED FOR BREAKFAST, one of the guests (as they always do) came in exclaiming about the beauty of the sunrise she'd just seen, to which I piteously reply (as I always do) that I'm always indoors fixing her complimentary coffee, UPON WHICH SHE OFFERS TO TAKE ME UP TO RAINBOW POINT THE NEXT DAY IN HER SHINY NEW CONVERTIBLE!

And it was a wonderful day : )
